they are regularly contacted by recruiters and can advance to
management roles.
Clinical research professionals work in a broad range of research settings:
Often field CRAs work as Home-based for small and
medium size US or international companies, which can't have branches
in all major cities. These companies provide everything necessary to
organize a home
office and their CRAs work from there. They travel to monitor the
investigation sites on company costs and email their reports when back
home.
If the company has a local branch, the CRA will have to go to the office
when not on the road and perform also some other administrative tasks.
