Career opportunities

Graduates of this program can be employed both in the hospital sector and research industry and once entered in the field, they are regularly contacted by recruiters and can advance to management roles.

Clinical research professionals work in a broad range of research settings:

CRA positions (in-house CRAs, field CRAs, incl. Home-based) - mainly in:

            - Pharmaceutical Companies

            - Biotechnology Companies

            - Medical Device (OEM) Manufacturers

            - Diagnostic Products Manufacturers

            - Biologics Manufacturers[1]

            - Cosmetics Manufacturers

            - Contract Research Organizations (CRO)

CRC positions (in-house positions) - mainly in:

            - Academic Health Centers and Hospitals

            - Private Medical Clinics and Research sites

            - Site Management Organizations (SMO)

Often field CRAs work as Home-based for small and medium size US  or international companies, which can't have  branches in all major cities. These companies provide everything necessary to organize a home office and their CRAs work from there. They travel to monitor the investigation sites on company costs and email their reports when back home.

If the company has a local branch, the CRA will have to go to the office when not on the road and perform also some other administrative tasks.
